Bursaries
We are pleased to offer several means-tested bursaries. For further information, please contact the bursar, who will be happy to provide details.
Sibling Discount
We also offer generous sibling discounts for families with three or more children in the school:
- Third child - 30% discount
- Fourth and subsequent children - 100% discount
Please note that these discounts apply only while all siblings are enrolled at the school at the same time and are awarded to the youngest child. Kindergarten places are excluded from this scheme.
Early Years Funding
Early Years funding for three and four-year-olds is available*. Please contact the bursary team for further information.
How to Pay
Our fees are payable in full on or before the first day of each term via bank transfer or cheque. Our bank details should be available on our invoices. The school will always inform you if we change our bank details. Please be cautious if you are advised to amend our bank details; it would be advisable to contact the school by telephoning 01242 523263 to verify any change.
We also offer the ability to pay monthly (over 10 monthly instalments) via the Direct Debit scheme. Please contact the Finance Office for further information: financeofficer@berkhampsteadschool.co.uk.

Further Details
The fees listed are per term are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Lunch and snacks are separately charged but included within the total fees listed above.
A full term’s notice is required in writing prior to withdrawing a pupil. A term’s fees in lieu will be charged if written notice is not received on or before the first day of the preceding term.

**The school offers multiple methods of paying fees including termly invoicing and ten direct debit instalments. The monthly equivalent figure is for illustration purposes.
***The breakdown of the Registration Fee is as follows: £50 of which is non-refundable, £300 deducted off first terms’ fee (Reception or above), £150 refunded when pupil leaves or donated to Berkhampstead School.
****We also offer instrumental lessons (arranged directly with peripatetic teachers, in piano, all stringed instruments, all brass instruments, all woodwind, percussion, saxophone and singing).
